At the Real London we love browsing through bookshops or seeking out a deli with the finest olive oil but we also love the capital's green spaces. Despite being a populous city and a global commerce hub, London is also blessed with a number of magnificent parks. These are part of heritage, they are a great leveller - public spaces open to all and largely untainted by the corporate takeover that has despoiled so much of civic life. Richmond partk has it all - a beautiful stretch of the Thames running through it, acres and acres of lush greenery, deer roaming wild and, of course, the Ian Dury bench.
